Data Description:
  • The data are from Common Core of Data (CCD) — school and district level datasets from 2000-2001 and 2001-2002. Study is limited to 11,000 districts that enroll 9th-12th grade students. Uses Cumulative Promotion Index (CPI) to measure high school graduation rates—-approximates the probability that a student entering 9th grade will graduate on time with a regular diploma. State-level and national-level projections are calculated for the 2003-2004 school year.
