The Diversity in Education Archive was originally called the Spivack Archive. It was created in 2006 by the researchers. In 2015, Mickelson and Bottia changed the name to the Diversity in Education Archive. They also initiated the K-16 STEM Archive that is the parent database for the STEM For The People Archive.
